Designing and refining the style of my work is the most enjoyable part of the creative process for me, and I am thankful to have had the support of clients and galleries for over 35 years. Over time, I have developed a distinctive style characterized by the combination of precious metals and advanced metal techniques.
Pieces are fabricated in sterling silver, 14k, 22k, white, and yellow gold. Textures are created using an ancient lost-wax casting technique, and the checkerboard and striped patterns are created using the marriage of metals technique. This technique is similar in process to a woodworker creating a butcher block pattern and a quilter creating stripes or square patterns.
There is a distinctive balance of Art and Fine Jewelry in my work. The pieces are designed to be functional and visibly handmade.
