Becky Coleman
Florida-based artist Becky Coleman loves telling visual stories. She graduated with a BA in 2008 and obtained her MA in special education in 2016. After teaching public school for eight years, Becky moved from Chicago to Sarasota, FL, to pursue art full-time. She draws inspiration from her relationships and uses landscape as a powerful story-telling tool. Creating artwork for her is about the experience and the journey. Her pieces seek to engage viewers in reflection and ultimately find empathy and connection.
