Gloria Urban Fine Art

I am a Plein Air artist, using acrylic and oil paints.  I prefer to paint out-doors, at times finishing a painting in my studio. I have an impressionistic painterly style using layering of paint, glazing and at times a heavy texture medium for a more visual affect.  I love to capture Florida’s tropical landscapes, wildlife and botanicals which are characterized by vivid colors. I have been told that my paintings are “happy”.
