Mike Rechter Photograpy

Mike Rechter is a photographer based on Long Island with an interest in landscape, cityscape, moon and sun photography. He is currently pursuing dual careers in dentistry and photography.

As a photographer, he generates images that are both subtle, yet bold, and ignite a sense of emotion and mood. His creative eye expresses his talent for composition, both planned and spontaneous. He has a unique ability of seeing the ordinary and turning it into the extraordinary.

Mike and his work have been recognized as a featured photographer on multiple social media sites and has had images used by the I Love NY tourism campaign. One of his photos was displayed at the exhibit “Icons of NY” at Gracie Mansion in NYC. He was a finalist in the 18th National Photography Exhibition a juried competition in Huntington NY and has won awards from the North Shore University Hospital and Massapequa Historical Society. Mike was recently selected as a finalist in a photo competition held by Action Photo Tours. His work was featured on the cover of the Nassau County Dental Journal in 2022 and recently took first prize in the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting photo competition in 2023 and 2024. He has also been a contributing photographer to the Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce
