Scott Hartman
After 33 successful years of working as an art teacher and Central Office Administrator in the Brentwood School District, Scott Hartman returned to creating, exhibiting and selling his original artworks. A self-taught transparent watercolorist and acrylic painter, Scott has painted realistic landscapes and still-life images for over 40 years. His paintings feature rural settings from Pennsylvania, Maine and the North Fork of Long Island. Recently, Scott has developed a series of man-hole cover watercolor paintings from photographs he took while traveling throughout the United States and Europe. One of these paintings, “Boston Sewer”, was selected by the National Watercolor Society for their Member’s Exhibition in California.
