The New Rulers

Formed in 2012 and hailing from sunny Florida The New Rulers deliver the finest ska rocksteady reggae and soul straight from the tap  The bands rhythm section bring the chunk and the funk laying a rock solid foundation of intoxicating grooves that will have you reaching for your dancing shoes. Sax, trombone, and trumpet make up The New Rulers extremely talented horn section, bringing to the mix beautiful harmonic melodies and tasteful solos played from the heart. Finalize the bands vintage sound with strong, soulful vocals and the classic harmonies reminiscent of 50s and 60s vocal groups. The New Rulers have shared the stage with Keith and Tex, Monty Alexander of Symarip, The Toasters, Michael Rose, Bad fish, the Slackers, the Aggrolites, the Pie Tasters, the Wailers, the Hub City Stompers, the New York, ska, jazz ensemble, and many more. Always an energetic and fun time for everyone.

The Dub Collectors

Inspired by the timeless sounds of early 60s and 70s reggae and soul music, the rocksteady group, The Dub Collectors, are dedicated to bringing their unique flavor of this classic genre in to the national spotlight. Combining melodic 3-part harmonies, groovy drum rhythms, and catchy, singable hooks, The Dub Collectors vintage style straps the listener in to a time machine and gives them feelings of nostalgia for musical days passed.

Formed in sunny St. Petersburg, FL in 2019, the 4-piece band features frontman Ryan Shadowens (Vocals/Guitar), Colin Smith (Vocals/Guitar), Burnes “Beaush” Feaster IV (Bass/Vocals), and Oscar Matallana (Drums). Currently in studio, the band is writing and self producing an album set to release in 2026. While reggae critics and casual listener’s eagerly await its arrival, one thing is for certain; it will be an indisputable display of the quartet’s commitment to authenticity and true mastery of the rocksteady genre.
